Collaborative Web Archive
Art is Everywhere is an archive-based, collaborative project made entirely out of crowd submissions. This endless stream of gratitude encourages visitors to reflect on the beautiful common ground of our human experience, bringing us together over a collective sense of awe.
This project was a solo personal project created over a week.
When adding to the archive, users are encouraged to consider a wider definition of art that includes "Anything that makes our human experience uniquely beautiful."
By expanding this definition and viewing the submissions of others, the hope that visitors are able to adopt a new perspective: transforming the mundane to the artful.
The site takes inspiration from brutalist design principles and the iconic "blue screen of death": highlighting from the very first page of the website that beauty can be found in even the most unexpected places.
